God Gave Me You ♥

So today I am in need of a reminder of why I love my missionary so much. You know when you just love something because you love it? Well that is how I feel with Mark sometimes and it is so great. Let me explain, there is just something about this man that makes me feel so good inside on a daily basis. Even though he is thousands of miles away I still can feel my connection with him. The best feeling in the world is to know that I have a best friend, boyfriend and true love that are all the same person. Sometimes I just find myself dazing off to old times where he and I had a total blast together. We were not only happy together, we were real and that's what made it so special. Mark and I kept a journal together for about two years before he left on his mission filled with all our adventures and memories. I love to go back and read what we did and how I felt. I am so blessed to have this man in my life and for the relationship he and I share together. Last Tuesday I went on a date here in Rock Springs with a soccer player. It was probably my first official blind date and it totally reassured me that Mark is the one for me. My date went well but I just was not interested in what the guy had to offer me, he was a returned missionary from Argentina and a total stud but something just wasn't there. It was one of those dates where you wonder when in the world you will be taken home. I am so grateful for the chance that I have to date while my missionary is gone but I am more grateful that those dates reassure me that much more on Mark. I have really enjoyed reading letters from Mark and getting to know him all over again. The other night I was reading a letter from June and found myself totally cracking up over something that he had said.
Life is a wonderful Journey and it will be even better when I get to spend it with my man.

-Tim McGraw
"Missing someone gets easier everyday because even though you are one day further from the last time you saw them, you are one day closer to the next time you'll see them"
I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.

family is forever ♥

The love of a family is life's greatest blessing. I am so grateful for my family and all the support they give me while I am away from home. It is funny when you grow up and are in high school all you want is to move on with your life and to get away from home; but once you are away from home you realize how much you do miss them. Now this might sound a little biased but I know that my family is the BEST family out there. Today my little brothers and sister started school and I wish I was there to see them grow up with that part of their lives. Mason will be a junior, Bayli in fifth grade and Braxton in fourth. Time is going so quickly and my family is growing up so fast. I am so thankful for the knowledge of the gospel to know that my family is an eternal family, age will never truly separate us from one another ♥

Do you ever have those days where you wonder what motivates you to get up and accomplish the things you do? These are the things I found that help me to be motivated:

Enjoy the Little Things

Robert Brault once said, " Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
I am now officially around 9 days here in Wyoming and here suffering through two a days. I have found it hard for me to focus on the real aspect of happiness and why I play the game I love. A lot of the time as I am getting yelled at on the court or running circuits I wonder why in the world am I here doing this. A guarantee is the money but I could go and get free school off of my grades at Utah State as well. Life is simply to be enjoyed not just endured. So this post is about why I do enjoy playing volleyball, it's always good to get a little reminder. ♥
I love hearing the rain bounce off of the gym roof while playing.
I love Susan Lindley and Makayla Keck... Go Idaho Spuds

I love heading out of my apartment to all the little bunnies Wyoming has to offer
I love that Volleyball gives me something to scrapbook about.
I love slamming this ball in the opponents face and turning into my team to cheer.
I love the feeling of being so exhausted that as soon as my head hits the pillow I am out.
I love emailing my brother about my success and wishing he was here to watch.
But most of all; I love that I get these two years while my best friend is gone to do something for me and to have volleyball help make time go faster. ♥

Well I am here...

Wyoming I am here!
That's correct, I am all moved in and settled back into the apartments on campus
(will post pics soon)
It feels so weird to be back here at school and playing volleyball again. I feel like I never left this campus for the summer; it is crazy how fast time moves forward. But of course you would never find me complaining about the time moving. My parents and Mason moved me in last Saturday and we have been going hard at two a days ever since. I am so grateful for the chance that I have to know about an eternal perspective on life. Sometimes throughout the week of two a day practice i would have to remind myself that my eternal salvation does not depend on my arm swing. It is always good to step back and to realize that life has more to offer you than just what you see on the outside. I know that the sacrifices I am making right now will eventually enrich my life and seem worth it. We have made it this far as a team and there is no limit on us but ourselves. It has been great to have today off and to be able to attend church and be reminded of the things that truly matter most. Tomorrow begins my last week of two a days and I am trying so hard to have a good attitude about it, time will only tell. I only have about 10.5 months to perfect myself, times a tickin'. Though we are all tired and ready for bed we made sure to find time for ourselves and eat some amazing food at a place here called Bonsi. Enjoy the pictures... until next time. Love you all ♥
