how things change...

I remember praying for a little sister all the time!! Then the day came that I finally got one and all my parents attention turned to her and I hated it. Things are different now, I was thinking the other day about how I only have a few more months till I wont be around Bay all the time anymore and how sad it will be. I always hated having her sit on the counter while I got ready for dates or listen to my phone calls but the more I think about it it's the simple things like that that I am going to miss. It's the little extra "bonus" times that I got to spend with her next to me that made us best of friends. I am grateful that I had ten wonderful years to spend so close to my baby sister.

Fishing...

Yesterday was the first time that Mark has ever been ice fishing! We went with my dad and Chris Kinghorn. Five AM rolled around super early for us but it was so worth it! The day was long but fun; at times we all were asleep on the ice besides the true fisherman... my dad. I was the only one to get skunked out of the group but I had a blast. I hope Mark's ice fishing first adventure was a success!

Can't get enough of you...

Everyday i'm beyond grateful for the friendship that Mark and I share. He makes me feel like the most important person in the world. I met mark the summer before my junior year. He was friends with my brother, Jordon, since they played basketball and ran track against each other. I had always had an interest in mark but was never brave enough to show him that. Now the rest is history (: here are a few fun things we like to do together:
* go to wal-mart and buy $5 movies
* have mark help me play a piano duet with him
* buy mini chocolate milks
* hang with my family
* ride bikes
* swing
* play boggle
* attempt to cook
*EAT
I am so glad that I got the opportunity to meet him. He's my best friend!

The call is here!!

Last Thursday afternoon we were off to Salmon to open Mark's mission call! After a long day of work for the both of us the trip was rather tiring. The whole drive I was nervous for him to open it and to see where he would be living for the next two years. Mark is my best friend and it is crazy to know that soon he'll be gone. He got called to Chihuahua Mexico where the weather is an average of 68 degrees, in other words it's perfect. I am so happy for him and can't wait to see what lies ahead for him.

My new adventure...

I seem to have a lot of time on my hands these days so I decided I have the time to make a blog. I have never been a great journal writer and this gives me a way to keep a journal of its own. In May I will be graduating and I cant believe how fast high school has flown by. Mark just got his mission call on Thursday and he was called to the Mexico Chihuahua mission and is leaving on June 30. I can't decide if I'm nervous or gut sick about it ha ha. I have known all along that eventually this day would roll around, it is just hard to actually know that its set in stone now. Hopefully I will be able to remember to post things here... we'll see (:
